There is not even a single Keralite who has not come across this song played on the television sets in 1998 when the film “Pranayavarnangal “ was released with the white brocade saree- clad bespectacled Manju Warrier reciting the song at a college event .

The night on receiving the kiss from her lover, which is metaphorically termed as the red-hued dawn like vermillion, turns into an adolescent girl . The girl is compared to a redolent red rose . Love is an emotion interspersed with intimacy and the touch of the lover .
